We Present Culture through Artworks

Origin Story

Located in Seattle, Washington, Sarea Art Gallery is a newly established art gallery under Sarea Art Culture LLC. Our mission is to enhance different cultural communications through artworks. There is no border in the world of art.

Our gallery mainly presents artworks through online platforms. We hope to reach out to the public through monthly well-selected small to medium-scale online exhibitions. Each month, we present artworks and crafts with meaningful cultural topics.

We mainly include the sections of fine art, jewelry, and home décor.

The fine art section presents artworks from prestigious artists all over the world.

We present representational, abstract, and nonrepresentational art, without discrimination on the creator’s gender, race, ethnicity, and national origin. The jewelry section and the home decor section aim to present well-designed decorative and applied artworks under the influence of diverse cultural backgrounds. We welcome talented artists to join us! (including but not limited to painters, sculptors, jewelry designers, pottery artists, metal artists, and traditional craftsmen)

Background in Industry

The founder of the gallery, Sarea Wang, started her art study in the Classical Atelier at Gage Academy of Art in 2022, After her two years of the full-time atelier program, she is attending Aristides Atelier’s Core Program. She also studied at the workshops of master artists such as Zhaoming Wu, Dennis Perrin, and Todd M. Casey. Before her art journey, she graduated with a B.A. Degree in Economics, English Literature, and Art History from the University of Pittsburgh and an MSc in Management from the Grand Ecole Program at EM Lyon Business School. During Childhood, Sarea studied and developed a great interest in traditional Chinese paintings. With her knowledge of traditional Chinese art and Western classical art, she became an artist and collector focusing on classical and impressionist art. She established the Sarea Art Gallery to increase further the influence of traditional art which is vanishing in the contemporary world. She also likes communicating with art lovers through writing blogs and sharing her spiritual experience with artworks.

Facing the rapid development of economy and technology, the artworks and handcrafts created with the Craftsman spirit are drowned in the hustle and bustle. With the influence of both Eastern and Western traditional art, Sarea Art Gallery intends to remind people of the traditional culture and art treasure in our history and to enhance the communication between different cultures through fine art, decorative art, and applied art, such as paintings, home decoration, and jewelry. The mission of our gallery is for the public to get to know more about the vanishing but also reviving traditional art cultures in both the Eastern and Western world through artworks.
